Getting ready for its first dyno run at Garry Grimes Twisted Engines, Facility. The 735 cfm Holley is a little small for the 512 ci. Calculations indicated that the engine should stop breathing around 4,800 RPM. (See Rebuilt notes). |

The engine looked and sounded great (see Dyno
video). Garry put set of Boss NASCAR headers on the engine for the
test. I really loved the look, but in reality, the stock exhaust manifolds
will take their place. |

After getting the engine back from Garry, the stock exhaust manifolds took the headers place. Looks kind-of small. |

The engine is now ready to install back into the engine bay. Notice the original spark plug wires and distributor cap. Not too bad for 34 year on the car. | ![]() |
